The MAB 9 series of microdialysis probes come with a 6kD cut- off, PES membrane. Standard probes have a 14 or 20mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1, 2, 3 or 4mm. Two advantages of these probes are they can be stored dry and can be sterilized with 1210C steam. Although these probes are warranted for single use only, it is common to reuse them. The MAB 10 series of microdialysis probes has an 8mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1 and 2 mm. These probes come with 2 different membranes, PES and Cuprophane. These probes are designed for awake and anesthetized animal work. The PES version of these probes may be sterilized with 1210C steam. NEW – We now make a probe with FEP Tubing already attached to the inlet and outlet. The new probes do not have any tubing adaptors or connectors attached. Disposable guide cannulas are available.
