The MAB 2/6/9 Guide Cannula is reusable, made from KEL-F and stainless steel. Two different versions, fitting MAB 2/6/9.14 and MAB 2/6/9.20 probes, are available as standard products. The guide cannula is made for repeated use meaning that the dental cement is removed with Acetone between experiments. Note that the dummy head should not be put in acetone.

The MAB Intracerebral Guide Cannula is for single use. Four different versions, fitting MAB 2/6/9.14, MAB 2/6/9.20, MAB 4 and MAB 10 probes, are available as standard products. If placed in Acetone the guide cannula will dissolve. Thin dimensions are ideal for multiple probe placement.
